Research and Development
PCC Engineering Club encourages students to pursue their dreams and explore different branches of engineering that exercise students' critical thinking and problem solving skills. Therefore, PCC Engineering Club feeds students' curiosity by supporting research and development.
Listed below are a few projects, subjects and technologies that students have been working on but still require more study before becoming a solid project:

RFID Sign In System
A sign in system using RFID (125 kHz frequency) is being developed to facilitate the recording of meeting assistance.
This is still on the beta phase, but the club already has a functional prototype. During the following weeks, the system will be tested on the club's general meetings.
Some of the technologies and devices used on the project include:
- Arduino UNO R3
- RFID 125 kHz. reader and tags
- RTC Clock Module interfaced with i2C
- Micro SD card reader interfaced with i2C
